OUR CLUB HAMFEST JUNE 4TH
I do not think I can say enough
about the hamfest..
The weather was super cooperative.
The attendance was great…
To have made this all happen,
thanks have to be sent out to:
Our Savior Lutheran Church – Pastor
Dave Hatch, N9ZRT and Randy,
W9HAM. A Great venue!
Our commercial vendor, Tower
Electronics, Jill, KB9PZF and Scott
Cole, KB9AMM
Thank all of you that rented tables
and trunk sales spaces.
Now when I get to the club
members, I cannot list them all
because I will surely miss someone .
The Hamfest Committee really
worked well together..
The parking crew out there all
day.. the sign crew got the area
covered -- the talk-ins didn’t lose
anyone . . the prize group with the
announcing.. the food people with all
the pastries and beverages with a
barista to help. The VEs pulled off
another great session..
Hats off to
those that came on Friday to set up
and to those that stayed at the end
to tear down..
Thanks to those that donated items
to give as prizes or to sell with the
funds to go to the Club.
To those that brought their
personal items to help .. the PA, the
tape, markers, buckets, etc..
The Trunk Sales area went over
expectations in number and quality.
There were a lot of comments requesting
to do this again next year.. I
enjoyed it .. hope you did too..
For the financial portion of the
event, you will need to attend the
Club meeting.. this Thursday..
I hope to have pictures from the
event on the K9EAM.org site.
Siren Test Net
We are continuing to check
the sirens to see if they are working or
have been repaired.. If you check one
that shows it did not work, please let us
know if it has been repaired. Send me
an email or on the Siren Net on the
second Wednesday of every month led
by KD9HJJ at 11:45 to Noon on the
147.12 repeater. The list of sirens are
attached to this email… Need to know if
it sounds and turns..

Field Day
Field Day is coming up faster than we
think.. It is a good time to see if you
are prepared to operate the radio in
conditions other than home… To operate
during emergency conditions.
Is your
equipment transportable? The Club will
have the EComm trailer there, but to
operate more stations, some will have
to bring transceivers from home with
power supplies.. come early and help
put up the antennas..
Transmitting begins 1800 UTC Saturday
and ending at 2059 UTC Sunday.
More in the next newsletter .
